His seminars are lively discussions of his life as a photographer along with lessons on how to get fantastic images with almost any camera. This is an all new seminar that will give the experienced as well as the novice shooter solid ideas on how to improve their underwater photography as well as their topside images. Marty will help you get the most out of your digital camera setup including reading histograms, strobe placement and light balance. An Emmy Award winning cinematographer Marty Snyderman has been involved in underwater photography for 25 years and is an internationally known photographer, film producer, author and speaker. His photography and writing have been utilized in publications including National Geographic, Dive Training, National Wildlife Federation publications, Natural History, Sport Diver, Time, Newsweek, Time Life, the Monterey Bay Aquarium, New England Aquarium, Sea World and Seattle Aquarium His film, The Secret World of Sharks and Rays, premiered on the PBS series NATURE. Marty produced and filmed To Be With Sharks premiered on the Discovery Channel and was the second most widely watched premier in the history of Shark Week. Looking at Your Photographs *Bonus session, is a continuation of Marty’s seminar that will feature the photography of the students as a learning tool. Prior to the course, each student is asked to submit some of their favorite photographs as well as a series of photographs taken from a recent trip. Then with Marty’s guidance, the participants will look at these photographs and learn how to “see” things in their work and how to improve upon them. This promises to be a very unique hands-on session. Because we want to maximize the learning experience, the class size for the Looking at Your Photographs session is limited to 16 to 20 people.
