9 February 2011 – Diver XY Social at 7:00 pm

Join David, Alex and Tamera for the February DiverXY Social at Howl at the Moon, a dueling piano bar located at 612 Hadley St. Houston, TX 77002.  Howl at the Moon’s piano players take the stage two at a time. The entertainers play for one hour and then yield the stage to two new players. At the changeover, all four piano players stay on stage for what is known as a “four-way.”The four-way occurs at the end of each hour and lasts for two to three songs. This hourly encore allows the pianoplayers to incorporate additional instruments (drums, guitar, and saxophone) into the performance. The four-way raises the energy of the room and provides a defined transition between the dueling piano show shifts.  David promises that this will be a fun time that you do not want to miss!

10 March 2011 – DiverXY Social at 6:30pm

The March social will be at the newly renovated Union Bar at 2708 Bagby St. Houston, TX 77006 beginning at 6:30 pm.  David has some cool new cocktails fro you to try and even has some drink tickets so you can try one of them on him.  Don’t miss this fun event targeted at our younger diving participants.

26 March 2011 – BarBQ at the Lake with Diving…9:30 am

Meet David, Alex and Tamara at the store or just head over to 288 Lake for a day of diving complete with David’s mastery at the grill.  Bring your own chicken or bribe david fro some of his special recipe chicken (please let Alex know if you would like to have some of David’s chicken so they bring enough).  This is your chance to try out your new dry suit or other dive equipment and have a lot of fun with your fellow XY Divers.  Reserve your cylinders and dive equipment now.

9-10 April 2011 – DUI DOG Rally and Demo Days – Windy Point on Lake Travis, Austin Texas

A DOG rally is a chance for DUI Owners to get together and swap diving stories.  It is also your chance to try the latest in dry suit technology, including drysuits and thermal protection.  If you are not certified to dive a drysuit, don’t worry – dive leaders are on hand to introduce you to this fantastic style of diving.  For the price of admission, you can try $5,000 in equipment, have lunch and get a cool test diver hat!  Many of the Diver XY group will be camping on location so bring your camping equipment and make a weekend out of it!  You can purchase tickets in advance by contacting Alex or Ann.
