And they are off…
Eric Keibler Dec 25, 2007

December has brought many pleasant surprises for us. One of them is the fact that we have had more people sign-up for classes in December than we have all quarter. It is exciting and stressful at the same time. Ashton came to Ann just before Christmas Eve and commented “we are out of student kits and air delivery systems but don’t worry we have more coming in after the first!”
This month has flown by; yesterday, I completed working with Patrick and Blake who were headed to the Bahamas for the holidays. They were great students and good sports, since they had to spend 2 days in the pool with me and two afternoons with me just before Christmas. On Christmas Eve we sent them off to finish their open water dives in the warm tropical waters of the Bahamas with their family. I look forward to hearing about their adventures when they return to Houston.
Today finds me sitting in the airport waiting for a flight to Phoenix to spend Christmas Day with Ann’s family. While one would think the airport would be quiet on Christmas Day, it is far from being serine. The terminals are full, the President’s Club is busy and the employees are hopping. I looks like it will be a busy day for everyone.
We spent the last evening with my family in Houston after attending Mass. Mom cooked a wonderful meal and we had fun opening all of the gifts under the tree. It was fun watching everyone as they opened the gifts Ann had collected from around the world, especially for them.
My flight is coming so I need to go…
