So you are heading on a cruise?
The staff at Oceanic Ventures is here to help make your experiences on the cruise ship memorable. How you ask? Here are some suggestions for you…
Snorkeling
Most Caribbean cruises offer the option of snorkeling. If you have never been snorkeling before or if some members of you family have yet to experience snorkeling, we offer an introduction to snorkeling to help you and your family feel more comfortable when you arrive. In this program you will learn
- How to assemble your equipment
- Proper kicking techniques to help you move through the water
- How to get the best fit for comfort and safety
- How to surface dive so you can get closer to the wildlife
Snorkeling Equipment
While most boats provide snoreling equipment, it may not be what you want to use. The mask may not fit your face properly and they may not have fins for your foot size. And, if you have a concern of using a snorkel that hundreds of other people have used, you may want to carry some of your own equipment with you. A typical snorkeling kit includes:
- a mask,
- a snorkel.
- a set of fins,
- mask defog
- a sun shirt or other protective suit to wear in the water,
- a snorkeling vest, and
- a mesh bag to carry everything in.
You may also want to add:
- a camera,
- a safety sausage, and
- a cutting tool.
We carry a full line of snorkeling equipment to help you get the proper fit to help you feel safe and comfortable in the water.
Packing Assistance
Space in most cabins is limited so packing your clothing and equipment in an efficient manner with bags that keep you organized during your stay. Also, having a bag that tucks away is important too. We stock a large quantity of travel bags, accessories and products to help you get there and back with ease. We can even help you decide how to pack it all so you meet the airline restrictions for size and weight.
